The home is not present on the 1908 atlas, but is listed without an owner on the 1913 atlas. The lot is listed on a sale from 1912 from Thomas Sheridan to A.E. Garwood, who purchased lot 205 of Llandillo Road.

In 1944, Lieutenant Tom Garwood, the son of Arthur & Charlotte, died in a plane crash at a Fort Worth military base. He was only 22. Charlotte died in 1949; Arthur continued living in the home.
